For the third year in a row, Ann Arbor has landed in the Gallup-Healthways top-10 for well-being.
Why?
The residents of Ann Arbor feel happy and secure when it comes to their  future. Ann Arborites reported the highest job satisfaction rate in the nation at 93 percent, and, for the second year in a row, residents rated their current and future lives higher than residents of any other town surveyed.

Overall
According to the poll, Ann Arbor is the sixth-best city in the United States in terms of its resident’s overall well-being.
The rankings are based on more than 500,000 interviews in which people across the country were asked about such matters as their emotional and physical health, job satisfaction, community safety and access to food, shelter and health care, among other measures.
